We first met in September 2021 after matching on the Bumble dating app, and right away, it felt meant to bee. On our first date at a local Thai restaurant, we sent the server away several times because we couldn’t stop talking long enough to look at the menu. We quickly bonded over similar taste in electronic dance music and a common enemy in college football. Hint: Olivia went to LSU and Alex went to Auburn for college.

What started as a digital connection blossomed into a real-life love filled with joy, laughter, travel, and countless concerts. In May 2022, we moved in together after Alex bought a townhome in Hoover, a suburb outside Birmingham. Our sweet, yet chaotic orange kitty Maple keeps us entertained at home.

In June 2024, we got engaged in Central Park in New York City. Alex popped the question on the famous Bow Bridge after a carriage ride through the park. We can’t wait to celebrate our love surrounded by our friends and family!

Fun facts:

• We are both left-handed. Eating side-by-side in a booth is a breeze. Still haven’t conquered writing in notebooks.

• We didn’t know at the time, but we were both at the same Hangout Music Festival in 2014.

• This photo was taken at The Fennec just one month after we started dating. Who knew it would end up being the place where we get married?
